Students in New Taipei City are set to enjoy safer and improved learning environments as the city government actively promotes the redevelopment of aging school buildings and seismic reinforcement projects. A total of 279 school buildings have been strengthened. On the 19th, New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi visited Jiangcui Junior High School in Banqiao District to inspect redevelopment progress and seismic retrofitting results, emphasizing that the first phase of reconstruction must be completed on schedule by June next year to provide children with a safe environment for growth and learning.
